Task 2 in the IELTS Academic Writing Test is more important than task 1. You have to write more, it’s a more difficult task and it is worth more to your final band for writing as more weight is given to Task 2 than to Task 1. Practice on IELTS practice tests is important for both tasks.
The IELTS Academic Writing Test
The IELTS Academic Writing Test lasts for 1 hour and includes 2 tasks. Task 1 is a letter and you must write at least 150 words. You should spend about 20 minutes out of the hour for Task 1. Task 2 is an essay and you must write at least 250 words. You should spend about 40 minutes for Task 2.
The Task for the IELTS Academic Task 2 Writing
The IELTS Academic Writing Task 2 asks you to write a short essay of a minimum of 250 words. The essay is usually a discussion of a subject of general interest. You may have to present and justify your opinion about something, give the solution to a problem or compare differing ideas or viewpoints. It is important that you consider finding IELTS practice tests, so that you can practice this part of the IELTS in order to achieve your true potential.

آیا امکان مطالعه و آمادگی برای آزمون آیلتس بصورت خود خوان و بدون استاد و معلم ممکن است؟
این سوالیست که اکثریت دانشجویان و متقاضیان آیلتس مکررا از من پرسیده اند .
جواب اینست که آیلتس بخاطر پیچیده بودن سیستم تستینگ و نیاز به آشنایی کامل با منابع آیلتس انواع و اقسام سوالات آزمون آیلتس باید زیر نظر یک استاد مجرب آیلتس آموزش دیده شود تا متقاضی آیلتس با وقت کم در کوتاه ترین زمان ممکن برای تست آیلتس آمادگی لازم و کافی را پیدا کند و با اطمینان و قوت قلب در سر جلسه آزمون رسمی آیلتس حضور یابد و مجبور نباشد چندین بار در آزمون ielts شرکت نماید تا قبول شود و نمره مورد نیاز مثلا 7 یا 7.5 در آیلتس کسب نماید.
از سوی دیگر خواندن آیلتس به تنهایی کاری عبث و معمولا از حوصله متقاضیان آیلتس خارج است چون اکثر این متقاضیان شاغل و بعضا در پستهای سازمانی بالایی قرار دارند و مسئولیت یک خانواده و یا حتی یک سازمان را بر عهده دارند و مثلا مدیر ارشد یک شرکت دولتی یا خصوصی هستند با وقت اندکی در روز برای مطالعه یا پزشک ، وکیل و ... . پس فرصتی برای وقت تلف کردن ندارند و پول کافی برای پرداخت هزینه کلاس را به شرطی که جواب خوبی از کلاس آیلتس بگیرند دارند که پرداخت کنند.
