آیلتس لایف اسکیلز ( Life Skills ) چیست ؟
خوب، به نظر دولت بریتانیا افرادی که قصد دارند برای برخی ویزاهای اقامت در انگلستان اقدام کنند به چیزی غیر از آیلتس جنرال نیاز دارند و اینطور شد که آیلتس لایف اسکیلز معرفی شد. در این نسخه از آیلتس مهارت های مکالمه و لیسنینگ شما در زمینه هایی مثل موضوعات روزمره مثل کار، تفریح، تحصیل، مشکلات جامعه، حمل و نقل و … با شرکت در بحث هایی سنجیده می شود.
آیلتس Life Skills چطور برگزار می شود؟
یکی از ویژگی های این آزمون که شبیه هیچ آزمون دیگری نیست، این است که شما با یک شرکت کننده دیگر در آزمون شرکت می کنید. بله، یعنی وقتی دارید آزمون می دهید علاوه بر ممتحن، یک شرکت کننده دیگر هم کنار شما حضور خواهد داشت. هر چند بسته به نوع آزمونی که شما می دهید ممکن است بخشی از مهارت های شما در کار گروهی با شرکت کننده دیگر هم سنجیده بشود، اما ضعف یا مهارت بالای شرکت کننده دیگر در نمره نهایی شما هیچ تاثیری نخواهد داشت و شما بر اساس عملکرد خودتان ارزیابی خواهید شد.
سیستم نمره دهی آیلتس Life Skills چطوره؟
سیستم نمره دهی آزمون IELTS Life Skills برخلاف آزمون های Academic و General بر اساس اعداد نیست. در آزمون لایف اسکیلز شما یا نمره Pass می گیرید و یا Fail. یعنی فقط قبول یا رد! درست مثل آزمون عملی رانندگی، که اتفاقا یکی از مهات های زندگی هم هست! نتیجه آزمون هم بعد از یک هفته به شما اعلام خواهد شد.
آیا آیلتس Life Skills در ایران برگزار می شود؟
از ۲۷ اسفند سال ۱۳۹۴،امکان برگزاری آزمون آیلتس لایف اسکیلز IELTS Life Skills در ایران هم بوجود آمده و دیگر نیازی نیست برای شرکت در این آزمون به کشور های همسایه مثل ترکیه بروید.
آیا آیلتس Life Skills سخت است؟
این آزمون در دو سطح A1 و B1 برگزارمی شود که مطابق سطح بندی CEFR اروپا هستند. می پرسید CEFR چیه؟ خوب، به جدول زیر نگاه کنید:

طبق جدول بالا، CEFR از سطح A1 شروع شده و تا سطح C2 بالا می رود. آزمون آیلتس لایف اسکیلز در دو سطح A1 و B1 می باشد که چندان هم بالا نیست. برای اینکه مقایسه ای از این سطوح و آزمون آیلتس داشته باشید به جدول زیر نگاه کنید:

همانطور که مشاهده می کنید سطح A1 معادل نمره بسیاری پایینی در آیلتس است و سطح B1 هم نهایتا معادل نمره ۴٫۵ تا ۵ آیلتس می باشدکه رسیدن به چنین سطحی کار بسیار ساده ای است.
بخش های دو سطح A1 و B1 در آیلتس Life Skills
همانطورکه میدانید در فرمت های آکادمیک وجنرال آزمون IELTS هر چهار مهارت شنیداری، گفتاری، نوشتاری و درک مطلب سنجیده می شوند. در IELTS Life Skills اما فقط دومهارت گفتاری وشنیداری یا همان اسپیکینگ و لیسنینگ خواهید داشت. سطح A1 دارای دو بخش و سطح B1 دارای ۳ بخش هست. دو بخش اول سطح B1 دقیقا مشابه سطح A1 هستند و فقط بخش سوم آن جدید خواهد بود. همانطور که می توانید حدس بزنید سطح B1 از A1 کمی سخت تر است.
سطح A1: دوبخش دارد
در بخش اول شما باید در مورد یک موضوع آشنا و روزمره حرف بزنید. دربخش دوم شما باید به یک لیسنینگ گوش کنید و به سوال ها پاسخ بدهید. در اینجا شما می توانید از لیسنینگ نت بردارید تا راحت تر بتوانید به سوال ها پاسخ بدهید. سطح A1 در حدود ۱۶ تا ۱۸ دقیقه طول می کشد.
سطح B1: دو بخش مشابه سطح A1 + بخش سوم
در سطح B1 شما سه بخش خواهید داشت که دو بخش اول آن دقیقا مشابه آزمون آیلتس لایف اسکیلز سطح A1 هستند. برای بخش سوم این سطح هم یک فعالیت گروهی طراحی می شود که دو شرکت کننده باید با هم آن را انجام بدهند. این سطح از آزمون در حدود ۲۲ دقیقه طول خواهد کشید.
