برای بيان عملی که هميشه تکرار می‌شود، مانند يک عادت يا رسم:

  

I go to school by bus.
We get up at 7 AM.

برای بیان حقیقتی که همیشه یا معمولاً درست است:

 

The Earth orbits the Sun.
