IELTS Writing Task 2 with Band 8 Answer Model

Many people believe that educational standards have declined by the teachers and the students recently. Discuss the causes of this problem and offer some possible solutions to it.

Nothing can alter the fact that in recent times, educational standards have not been taken into consideration sufficiently. This essay wishes to elaborate meticulously on several sources and viable solutions to this issue.

Chief among the causes is teachers’ lack of motivation which results from financial resources scarcity. It is indisputable that when teachers do not earn a good living, they lose their motivation to observe educational standards. Thus, they heed scant attention to the students’ needs and wants. Further and more importantly, though, lack of job vacancies for the students after graduation is a critical problem which has brought about dramatic demotivation; a salient example is elite engineering graduates in Iran who encounter unemployment after graduation and lose the incentive to pursue their studies.

Two primary solutions are remained to this problem. Firstly, The teachers who propel students toward a desirable future to fulfill their wishes as to launching a decent career, have to be provided with sufficient financial support; in so doing they will be stimulated to attempt to train students who are decent regarding educational norms. Governments in general and the science ministry in particular are responsible for this. Equally important, though, a logical thought about students future after graduation leads to effective encouragement that would make students build an iron will and expend a huge effort to graduate with the most rigorous studies in a certain field; for instance, medical students in Iran have benefited from this amenity thus far.

By way of conclusion, I once again restate my idea that provided that the teachers are supported financially to cover the expenses and also students have hopes to finding a job related to their field of study, not only will not the education standards decline and driven to the margin, but they will also be warranted.

IELTS Writing Task 2 with Band 7.5 Answer Model

Many people believe that the use of new technology improves lives of employees.

Others think it is a disadvantage for them. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

Although some people suppose that technology plays a crucial role in individuals’ jobs, there remains some disagreement on this view. I personally contend that technology is deemed critically essential in every society on the globe.

Many people believe the use of technology is a key to improvement in work places. Advocates of this view consider a number of primary reasons for that. Firstly, the technology provides the employees with a more comfortable situation to work. Furthermore, it saves them time as tasks would be done more rapidly. Finally and even more importantly, technology serves quality services due to involving organized data. Salient examples of new technologies are computers that are widely employed in various organizations and institutions and entail the three mentioned merits.

In stark contrast, some other people introduce dependency as a major problem. They remain convinced that employees are not able to work any longer if technology would be removed from their life. They clarify that if power would be cut out for a short while, it remains labor force jobless during that time and the tasks would not be accomplished until the electricity comes back on. A further drawback they assert is that technology has made occupations solitary and sedentary and hence, slob employees at work.

From a personal point of view, due to the reasons outlined in the first part of the essay, technology as a recent phenomenon is absolutely essential. It is an integral part of human’s life that the demerits such as dependency and inactivity can easily be ignored.

By way of conclusion, despite differing views as to whether individuals apply technology at workplace, I once again reaffirm my position that technology serves several useful purposes and its influence will grow even stronger, thus its significance should be appreciated.
